Description
It's that time of year again--Art-Process Time! I realized that the last time I uploaded a step-by-step like this was Thanksgivng last year... And I admit--it's pretty sad that it took me a full year to get around to this again ^^" Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this never-before-seen look at what's still one of my most popular pieces: Cierice The Liquescent Icicle !And by all means guys, if you want more processes like this, don't be afraid to let me know and/or if you'd like them to be done differently. If so, feel free to request which artworks of mine you wanna see processes from!

Process Steps:
1. Rough Sketch (as a digital painter, I don't ever do clean linearts)
2. Lay Down Basic Color Scheme
3. Begin Painting (I lowered the opacity of the lineart and hid/un-hid it as needed. This was also my first time painting water, so I broke it down into chunks rather than trying to paint all the water together, since I had no clue what I was doing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
4. I slowly worked my way up the character, adding more vibrancy, depth, & color variation to the earlier parts with "Level" Adjustments and "Soft Light" + "Color Dodge" brushstrokes)
5. Meticulously Taught Myself How To Detail Water & Crystals As I Went (using plenty of references and headache medicine :'))
6. Obviously Wasn't Happy With The Color Scheme, So I Changed It Here (through numerous layers of "Hue/Saturation", "Color Balance", & "Selective Color" Adjustments)
7. Added Smaller Details & Increased Contrast/Intensity Of Overall Piece
8. Finished The Fine Detailing, Added Effect Elements, & Did Final Adjustments/Boosts To Overall Piece
Then shed a single tear of happiness.

SIDE NOTE: This is an old painting process where a lot of parts were rough and very experimental. My current art process may not be identical to this anymore, but I think it's still important to show (and if it can help just 1 person in the smallest way, then it's done its job
Happy #Thanksgiving2018 ! As repetitive as it'll probably always be, I'm thankful for each one of you here, and will always try to do more to give back to you guys
//New goal for self: Don't go another year before doing something like this again :'D
