Ahh sorry for the inactivity _(:> 」∠)_ But I'm finally back with a new piece!Happy #Mermay ! About halfway through this painting, I was working on it in the car, and didn't think I could finish this and pull through...but I looked down at my hands and whispered to them.. "you mermaid for this."
In all honesty I'm happier with the outcome of this one than I have been for a painting in some time. Tried out some fun new techniques and tricks, and overall just had a ton of fun with it C: Hope you like it too!

I wonder what is supposed to be "sublime" about this image. Is it the colors/shading, the expression on the mermaid's face, the thoughts she might be imagining, or the scene in general? Regardless, it certainly produces a sense of awe in me.
