This is the color version of a sketch card I did of Jane Jetson of the crew of the Federation Starship "Demeter".

Jane Jetson was originally voiced by Lois Pendleton who also played the TV role of "Blondie" from the comic strip. She had a very clear and distinctive voice. I figured Jane would be perfect as a communications officer.

To clarify, Jane Jetson was voiced by Penny Singleton. I must have confused her with another actress' name. Penny Singleton appeared in a series of LIVE ACTION "Blondie" movies from 1938 - 1950. She also voiced Blodie in a radio series that was broadcast during the same period.
