This is a repainting of a picture I previously posted. The original version of this artwork had been offered for sale at numerous cons and artshows without success. I finally realized that the reason this piece had been passed over was because the wings were not visible. I had depicted them as moving in a blur like hummingbird wings. Without its wings, this thing looks like a levitating lizard.

Here is what the original looks like:

I decided to take this one down off the wall and add detail to the wings. I actually reworked the entire picture. I gave it more definition, color saturation and lighting.
