This chapter illustration highlights the sexual tension between Bonita the immortal witch (dressed in a period costume for a staging of "les Liaisons Dangereuses") and the predatory college professor.
I intentionally sought a yin/yang black/white dicotomy for this composition.

Bonita is the queen of tease. She is in absolute control of any such situation, she just allows others to think that they are in control.

Long time since I have not come here to really talk about the work of colleagues, but could not resist, I was really curious!
What's your idea with this character?

Which character. Bonita is the brunette on the right. Cathedra is the blonde on the left. The dynamic between these two characters is all stated with body posture and proximics. Cathedra is leaning into Bonita's personal space and Bonita is pulling away. This depicts an actual scene in the novel that takes place in a lesbian nightclub. Nothing sexual takes place in during this scene. It is all implied.
