I don't think this quite cuts it as a "quest for improvement" sort of collage... The pieces in it aren't really the epitome of my work for any given year, and even the more recent ones aren't exactly my best work. However, it's still a pretty good sample of my work over the years, and a good example of how my style of drawing has changed as it compares only the drawings I've done of one particular character of mine.

If she looks vaguely familiar, it's not a coincidence. She was originally based off of Iris from Rockman/Mega Man X4 for Playstation. She dies in the game, but little 8th grader Lexxy was so thrilled at there being a female character in the Regaman X series that she had to give her life through redesign and online chat-based roleplay XD

For whatever reason, she stuck with me, and is the single most drawn character ever to come out of my brain (this is only a small portion of the stacks of drawings she's appeared in). At this point, I feel that although she wasn't mine to begin with, she has changed so much in appearance and character over the years that I can safely call her my own.

This year I hope to be able to improve upon her even further :3
