Sometimes I get the feeling that we're overdoing political correctness and we're turning it into Newspeak.If you don't agree with someone, it doesn't automatically mean that you hate them or you want to offend them.

I would fav this stamp and add it to my ID if not the second slide. You see, I agree with everything that can be proved by scientifical methods, but I do not respect things that can't.

Yeah, we've lost the ability to respectfully disagree. Either we run from our opponents or try to dominate them, instead of getting in scuffles and liking each other afterwards.
It's like, "you started an argument with this guy, now you're running? He's not done, and he wasn't trying to destroy you."ย

Ho iniziato ad odiare il politically correct circa 10 anni fa, quando una mia compagna di classe era cosรฌ politically correct che non aveva neppure il coraggio di esprimere un opinione sui vari generi musicali o sul cibo, o su una serie animata o un film che non le piacevano.

Yeah. There is a huge difference between rudeness/bashing others and simply stating opinions that someone else might not agree with.

I think today political correctness is starting to turn into a religion, everytime I do something that is "politically incorrect" someone shoves their political correctness down my throut. Which is annoying as hell.

Yeah, I mean, I don't believe in judging other people or provoking them for the sake of it, but sometimes it looks like you have a right to an opinion only if it doesn't contradict anyone else's. Which is actually impossible.
