I can't help but think that Chell stopped and hesitated at the end of Portal 2, when she was finally getting her freedom. Even if it's just because the whole thing seems fishy, I have a hard time believing that she wouldn't stop and think about everything that's happened before moving on from Aperture, especially after how differently we see GLaDOS in those last moments - *coughCarolinecoughTurretOperacough*.
No matter how hard it was to fight for freedom, the most difficult part has got to be when you're in the middle of the transition and I think even Chell would miss those crazy robots for a while after.
