Description
09I'm gunna go ahead and put this in misc. crafts, instead of Happy Face.
I've seen a few different methods to re-size a top, but they all required lots of pins and I'd always either stick myself or have it come out funny. I think this is just alot easier.
This is my first tutorial so sorry if it sucks. n_n

I've seen this method in tutorials before, but it has always been confusing to me. This is really clear and easy to follow. Though I would probably cut the excess fabric off after I've sewn the new seams and tried it on, just to be sure it fits. But other than that, good tutorial!

Thank you ^_^ Another thing I kinda didn't do is seam allowance, so it is a tight fit.

Ive seen those tutorials too and they were a lot more complicated than I would like. This is easier for me to follow its not a bad tutorial so dont worry lol but what if your chest size is like 39 instead? Would you just round it to 40 and then divide? I dont wanna worry about a 19.5 or anything like that, I'll somehow measure the shirt wrong and mess it up lol! I also wish you would have had a picture of the bottom of the shirt, showing your line you made so I can get an idea of the curve you were talking about but other than that, this is great

Thank you. ^_^ If you have an uneven number you could round up- it'd only make an inch in difference for looseness, which some would prefer. For ladies you can just use your bra size. - - - - Sorry I don't have a picture of the whole side lines, I'll try to explain it. My measurements are Chest-38, Waist-35, Hips-45. Instead of adding all those divisions to the side lines, I just began with 19 in the chest & kept it going until I reached the top of my hips and drew the lines slanting outwards in a natural curvy shape. / \

lol Yup, just divide in half. To help get it in the right places, measure from your chest to your waist vertically and make markers at the two points, then from your waist to your hips. Hope that's not too confusing x3 I'd love to see anything if you make it!
