Description Seems I went all Wrightson this issue, but with textures - and monsters - it felt right! Actually it's as much Alcala and Clement Coll, but Wrightson will always be the touchstone on this kind of Victorian wood-cut inspired inking technique after his seminal Frankenstein work.

I love how the colouring and inking seem to be the same thing and don't interfere with each other. So good.

Great image, Liam.

It also puts me in mind of Dore's engravings for the Divine Comedy.

Beautiful example of creating texture! I've tried doing pieces like this, but I seem to always over-do it and lose the whole effect. I guess I'll go practice more now!

I love powerful pieces like this. Might not be as flashy as some of the other stuff in the series but it is probably my favorite. Excellent work sir.

That's really great. I'm kinda blind but at first I didn't even notice the body lying the ledge. You really are a terrific and gifted artist, and those cave walls are spectacular.
