This is from the official GOW comic series from DC and Wildstorm. It links the Gears 1 game to Gears 2, and there's even an easter egg in the second issue...
Hope you track copies down, but if not they'll be collecting it into a graphic novel for sure. Check out my gallery for a whole bunch of other GOW pages!

One of the hardest things for me to do in the world of art is make a character look the same over and over. Dunno why, but it is.... you do it masterfully.
It's hard to get 2 stick men to look like the same guy in most cases. But you do it over and over and over again without flaw.
