I remember this. I loved your Namor. I thought you had one of the coolest and most unique version of the "man from Atlantis" ever. A couple years ago, I was hard up for cash, and sold most of my comic collection, and when I realized that my Liam Sharp Man-Thing and Hulk issues were in those boxes, I went back and re-bought those issues. LOL. I always said if they ever put you on a Sub Mariner ongoing, I'm on board!

I only have issues 1 - 3, but these were some of my favorite comics at the time. I know I mentioned it before, but I'll say it again, your work on Man-Thing was, and might still be, my favorite. It really made me see art differently at the time. Sadly, this was at a time I stopped collecting comics due to so many problems I had with them.
I'm still looking for this series in some fashion. but none of the shops I've been to in the last few years have any back issues. Shame, I really want to get better copies of 1 - 3, since I've pretty much worn them out.

First I want to say, Liam, you are my favorite comic book artist, have been since Death's Head 2 #1. Heck and your name is awesome too, probably why I've named role-playing characters after you in the past.

Wow. Thank you. I don't think anybody has ever placed me as their number one artist before. I'm unbelievably humbled. You just made my day.
There WAS a giant-sized Man-Thing ref in the story (which featured Howard the Duck) when J.M. DeMatteis had me draw him HUUUUGE. Loved this book so much. My editor at the time thought it was a future classic. Sadly I think it wound up mostly forgotten...

It's not forgotten, I actually have this comic, yeah basically when I was growing up it was X-Men and Death's Head 2. Then when I was old enough to realize artists I followed pretty much every book you did art for.
Heck I even went on ebay a few years back and got the Death's Head 2 T-Shirt because it was the cover I loved so much that you drew.
