Fullview PleaseMy favorite fps, Heretic. Gothic fantasy horror has never been done so well. I love this game.
Here we see our hero, the sidhe elf, Corvus, beset by disciples of D'sparil in a dank cesspool, deep in the Domes of D'sparil. Carnage will ensue.

Edit: 6/10/09 Noticed on ~RavenScarlett 's monitor, that the highlights on the disciples' robes didn't blend/were too bright. I wanted to blame it on the gamma settings, but realistically a good painting should look at least coherent no matter what monitor you're looking at it on, so I tried to fix it. Let me know how it looks now.

I remember this place specifically; I love how you harken to heretic II as well with the single, floating Tome of power and Corvus' long hair!

U know your lore well......i too am a fan of the good old heretic hexen franchise......to bad raven isn't looking to revive it anymore

I am probably the biggest Heretic fan in the world. Seriously, I still play it to this day, single and multiplayer, I have a full sleeve tattoo based on the game, a shirt with a crossed trident iron transferred onto it, I make fan art, and I have a tome of power book-box. Not to mention my hand made D'Sparil costume... and really it goes on, lol. That being said, I hope I know my lore, lol. It would be really nice to see it redone. If I ever become a millionaire, I'll buy the rights to a remake and directly oversee it, lol

When I first looked at this image I thought "Is that... God that looks like... Oh my god it is!" lol love the series and the picture, but I have to say that Hexen is better than Heretic any day of the week ^.^

I think this is probably my favourite Heretic/Hexen themed picture on DA so far. I particularily like the effect of the hand in the foreground making the image almost seem almost first person in a way.

Beautiful art, showing both action and original athmosphere of the game, and with many recognizable aspects and details, including the room, Skull Rod, teleport, green key. (except perhaps two violet rings where there's usually three) Oh, and what is at the left lower corner, a hand? Seems the picture is seen from the view of one of the Disciples!

ive played heretic so much. i know exactly where this is. god i hate the disciples. they can really eff you up if you arent careful. awesome pictures btw!
