Hi people! Maybe you knew about Dauntless, the comic project that dyinglikeicarus and me are working on. It's about a dystopian future, undergrounds, dangerous places, survival, friendship and love with a heavy touch of feels. While she works on the storyboard (The script is 300 pgs and this is going to be REALLY huge) I work on the designs and concepts, which makes me very excited!

Well, this is sad to tell, but I no longer have anything to do with the project. Due to personal and creative differences, now the other girl is the one absolutely in charge, so I don't know what will happen. But it would be so great ^^

Wow, these are really cool designs! The clothes are probably my favorite part, because they are so imaginative and of such bright colors and some of them even resemble animals. Really makes me wonder about their culture. I can't wait to see the actual comic! ^^

So, like in the tree tribes is there a disease that makes people lose limbs/have skin conditions?

Not exactly. The Village was born as a trashpit for those unwanted by the City. They started with the criminals and as decades passed, there were the subversive, the problematic, the mental people and lately, every single person who was deemed "ugly". This is, people with skin conditions, missing limbs, mental health problems and anything else considered "crippling". Considering the obsession the City has with beauty, this includes also "ugly" and persons who are not pleasant to the sight.

Thank you! Not lepers exactly, though there are some of them. Anybody with a skin condition or missing a part of their body as a result of an accident or by birth (Along with mental citizens) get tossed to the Village. Messed up philosophy, indeed.
