Hello, LW here once again. It's 2019 now, Happy New Year everyone!!! I hope you all had a great year in 2018, I certainly did because I got all 3 of the coolest gaming consoles ever! I enjoyed playing on all of them and I thought of a good way to celebrate the new year by making a tribute for the 3 consoles I spent the whole year playing on (PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One respectively in the picture up above) along with adding a few decorations with it. :3As you can all tell, I've been a big gamer for almost my entire life. I remember the first video game console I played was GameCube, I would spend countless hours playing Disney games over and over again. I no longer have it unfortunately, but I became addicted to video games ever since. Then, I would have a PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS, both of them stopped working eventually. As I grew older though, I never stopped playing video games and I got an Xbox , a Wii , a 360 , and a PlayStation 3. Yep, my whole life was basically video games, but I hardly ever had anybody to play with, let alone have any friends at all. Now, I'm grown up and I find myself still addicted to video games. I'm surprised with how far video games have come thus far and I would like to thank Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo for all of the video gaming consoles I have played on in the past, especially for the Next Gen Consoles that I have right now. Who knows what the next consoles will be like in the future, anybody else excited to see what's next?
For 2019, I hope to have more fun, meet new friend, and best of all: play more video games because once a gamer, always a gamer!

This is a very nice pic you made celebrating the three current game consoles on the market, along with the distinct aesthetics you gave to each of them. I guess you could say the Xbox One is my favorite of the current generation because that's what I have (though the game I play most on it is DOOM, even though it's not an Xbox One exclusive), though one of the main reasons why I got it was for its 4K support for the 4K TV I got two years ago.
While the amount of gameplay I get under my belt has slowed down considerably over the years, I do have a sizable collection of game consoles and played LOTS of games in past years (I currently have an NES, Sega Genesis, N64, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, Alienware Aurora gaming PC, and NES and SNES Classic Editions).

Sounds like you have a lot of consoles. 🤣 Some of us have grown up, but we are all still gamers nevertheless.
Have you heard that there’s a new gaming console called the Madbox, which is said that it will rival PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo once it’s released?

I honestly never heard of the Madbox until you mentioned it, though I'll see how that console pans out when it gets released. Right now I'm giving just a little thought about maybe getting a Nintendo Switch not just for some of the current games exclusive to the console (mainly Super Mario Odyssey), but also for past Nintendo exclusives to get on the Virtual Console (money's not really an issue for me, but just wondering if it'll be a good investment).

I also enjoy playing the PS4, even though I am currently playing on the Nintendo Switch right now.
I’m hoping PS5 is even better, but I’m not gonna get it right away due to financial problems and it will obviously be very expensive when it’s released. So, I think I would rather wait and see what happens because I’m happy with what I got and I don’t want to give up all 3 of my Next-Gen consoles just yet. (But I am planning on getting rid of my old 360 and PS3 since they are hardly used for anything anymore)

To be honest, I never was into the whole SSB series, (but my brother was) so this is by far the first time I played any of the Smash games and I am really looking forward to playing with some people, especially who also has the game and is into the Switch.

Nope, I only play a certain amount of games, but not all video games peak interest, unfortunately. Plus, life isn’t always about video games, there’s just too many important things for me right now that I cannot always be focused on video games if you understand.
I’m deciding whether Sonic or Lucario should be my Main.

This is true we have other responsibilities and there only so much little time
to get to play most of them,sadly.Games like Dark Souls are my favorite because
of the Lovecraftian themes like eldritch monster horrors and the building up of fear and
hype of hearing, maybe meeting them.

Okay, okay, its not all that bad. I cant specifically say I own a proper console of my own, but I did have A PSP before moving on to DS. Sadly no much time to really do gaming as of late. Warframe is pretty much the only game I play during my down time.
On the other hand, my brother owns every Nintendo console to date. Currently owns a Switch as well, that die hard Nintendo fan.

Seriously speaking, I think the difference is in the playback time, which means that the comfort of the controls is important, and Play Station have better controls.

I like how the Switch is a Hybrid console; meaning you can take it anywhere you want whenever you want. I also hope voice chat works very well on the app when I get to play with somebody, I haven’t got to try it out yet.

That is something else, to me it seems unnecessary, if I go to the beach it is to play on the beach, if I go to the park it is to play in the park, and if I visit a relative it is to be with the family, in my opinion the games are to be in the room 1 or 3 hours a day.
Otherwise it becomes an addiction.
