I think that sort of thing comes through in paintings sometimes...when I was younger I read a book that begun a significant part of what I would do in my life. The cover looked like this duckduckgo.com/?q=helen+haanf+… my point is, that this painting reminds me of the same thing as you mentioned.

I told myself a story about this one ... about traveling through space and then feeling the vehicle disintegrate around me. Fear flowed and then gentle awareness followed ... as I realized I, too, am space and not the atoms my space was holding.
