Description
The third of my aquatic grimm. This time I went for something more prehistoric. Ichthyosaurus (fish lizard) was one of the smaller ichthyosaurs, so I took inspiration from Shonisaurus instead. Ichthyosaurs were large dolphin like aquatic reptiles that thrived during the Jurassic period. Like dolphins, they gave birth to live young and breathed air. They also got to be freaking huge. And that's what I'm going for here.Class: Giant
Environment: Open water
Size: 50< ft
Primary Weapon: Teeth
Ichthyos are large aquatic grimm that pose a large threat to small ships and as a result it is recommended that no ship smaller than a navy patrol ship go out in open water alone. The most popular way to deal with Ichthyos is to drop depth charges, as they are simply too big and smart for naval hunters to go after traditionally. They may or may not travel in pods, depending on their size, and have been known to leap out of the water and snatch people off decks as well as trick sailors into thinking it is in one spot in the water by knocking on the boat, only to catch them off guard afterwards.
Interestingly, Ichthyos numbers have decreased in recent years, despite human success rate at killing them remaining as poor as usual. This may be due to more effective predators out-competing them and evolution weeding them out, but scientists are not entirely sure.

I can picture Ruby, Yang and Nora firing their weapons underwater in a desperate attempt to escape the teeth of this creature.

Especially since bullets don't go very far underwater (especial those of higher caliber)

It's not about the bullets, it's about the recoil. They're trying to get away!

It's not a dolphin...
And if you check the size of the creature in his description, it's a bit less than 50 feet long...

... All right, I apologize for the mistake. It just seems like a Dolphin Grimm, as it looks very similar, as well as to the prehistoric creature it was based on. But once again, I apologize for such a stupid mistake.

To be fair, Ichthyosaurs were VERY similar in appearance and behavior to dolphins, so I can see the confusion

It's okay, I don't mean to sound like a grammar person.
It DOES look like a dolphin, though.

I'm sorry if I sounded like an idiot, I was just saying from the appearance. I should have researched before commenting.
