I got new acrylic colours for christmas, and they are awesome
Well, I wanted for long time to make a fanart for Valve, Portal or Half-Life. I tried (and failed) with he Portal one, so here is a HL one
Awaiting the Episode Three!
There are D0G, Gordon and Alyx in the background, in case you didn't recognize them

I can't shake this reference in Penumbra: Overture (made in 2007). That takes place in an abandoned mine in Northern Greenland, and near the end of the game is a frozen underground lake that two explorers died in, hours before the player got there. One of them is wearing a glove that looks like the HEV's, and you have to cut it off with a saw to get the crowbar it's holding. "Joe Freeman" is the other explorer.
Just think: Could the Borealis be in Greenland too?

I wrote a huge crossover that brings HL2, System Shock 2, Marathon, and BioShock Infinite together, and the ending branch for Gordon and Alyx is on the Borealis, where they find pictures by Doug Rattman, a video tape of Aperture explorers investigating that Lake, and a phone call from Barney about a party waiting for them upstairs.
