...until someone opens the box.Finally, after bazilion months of me wanting to make a Portal fanart, here it is!
Based on a comic Lab Rat [link] which I've read recently the second time and can't stop thinking of the poor insane schizophrenic Rattman. I still hope he magically recovered from his wound and is still alive somewhere.
Also, I'd better choose a not so structured paper for a pencil drawing next time. It looks kinda weird like this :c

I like this. I love how dark and gritty it looks, which is fresh depart from the usual complementary blue/orange scheme found in so many fan art of the Portal games. I liked how you decided to highlight only certain parts in color; it creates a nice emphasis.

I don't think the usual orange/blue sheme fits to Rattman, so I chose this dark pencil style

This is so wonderful--I love the lighting, and selective use of colors (turret, 'Cube... the exit...) And, I rather like the roughness of the textured paper.

If you look at the lunar charts on the ceiling where you first get the portal gun in Portal 2, I believe it's heavily implied that mister Rattman has left the building.

He probably got sucked on the moon because he saw it as the only way out of Aperture, sent a photo of his cube on the moon, and either died or live in a Aperture lunar base. I hope the second is true
