Description

An alternate version of this piece here - fav.me/d5m9g1s - trying to add a few more 40k elements and improve the design overall. The observant among you will notice the different forgeworld and serial number, however I think Sirona will be my go to forgeworld for medical stuff. (Sirona doesn't exist in canon, but look it up, I always like little references like this in my stuff).

A version of my original Caduceus medical symbol design is available to purchase on t-shirts, masks and more here: www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/6400…

well, i least i already say everything, for me the dark eldar for healing will use more a vampiric concept to steal life from other, is fit well with their ways

Damn, it posted in the wrong place. That comment was in reference to diego's attempted description of the Dark Eldar's practice of extending their lives by feeding off the suffering of others, thus potentially healing them as well.

I think it's in the older fluff that Eldar use bionics but integrate them better, there's also wraithbone too. It's also in some of the fluff that they can regrow limbs so no need for bionics (not sure what I think about that though).

Sisters of Battle I think of as being like the VAD or First Aid Nursing Yeomanry of WWI with a 15th century religious slant. They have the narcethium like the Marine Apothecaries, or a form of it.

well some guys say that in path of the warrior one eldar medite to heal themselvs. so also maybe they will use more oriental-looking ways to heal?

with the sister and other church related armes it can be like that and also more like middle ages medince just because.

is a shame with the eldar. see how the race is doom the will have a good medic tech

the imperiun is a large place so in depents so regiment will have the best of the best and other....well to bad from them

also the apothecary. you never look them healing, must of the time the just stay there until they extract the geneseed.

so in the end is the orks to all the race who we know the heal. so werid no?

No idea, it's all digital at the moment I'll be putting some together myself but will use shell/field style dressings. Look out for a Seraphine bottle next

I mean, with all the fluff focus on grimdark war, you forget that there are parts of the Imperium that try to keep its people alive

But probably not for particularly benificent reasons As most things are produced by Forgeworlds, with Industrial worlds like Necromunda filling in the gaps, there's surely forgeworlds that make just nuts and bolts, or agricultural equipment, or chairs or door handles lol

Like that forge world in one of the BA books that all it does is produce missiles and other ammunition. No weaponry.

Yeah kind of, but there's still loads of non-military stuff that needs to be produced

Probably not: "We'll stitch that leg back on so you can go back to being a runner in this Ork infested warzone. Good luck!"

The strategically vital world of Cressida, chief exporter of chair legs, wooden cabinets and one size of screwdriver heads. Without its critical contributions, the war on Armageddon would be a bit more uncomfortable for staff officers!

Awesome, I hope to see it properly recoginised and it's proud efforts properly lauded by a grateful Imperium

Haha, lol, well part of their fluff is that they're not "glorious heroes", nor are they particularly renowned throughout the Imperium; they're pretty scruffy underdogs that perhaps certain Chapters might look down their noses at.

I think we've gone off topic slightly here because I was joking about the Forge world that makes unimportant bits and bobs being lauded as a world of true heroes-I'm guessing you're refering to your Space Marines?

Arrgh that's what I get for replying at stupid o'clock and from the messages page where both your replies must have been together lol. What a dumkopf Yes, I was talking about the Marines lol

A Forgeworld dedicated to medical goodies? A refreshing change from all the war machines and a cool one at that!

Very awesome! Such a great little prop that you'll never read about in canon but certainly exists!

Great job!
