Because time broke, past, present, and future got mixed up - and now the past is "in the past" once more.

Lets see, the cliches sate that villains always go back to being evil and time remnants always disappear in the end of the story for no reason. So Nightmare is ether going to betray the royal sisters and be defeated (the villains never win is also a cliche) or disappear for no reason (We wouldn't want Luna to end up with a twin sister would we?).

Well...our heroes finally did it. Tirek has been defeated, and Nightmare Moon ceases to exist once again. Chrysalis and Sombra have been vanquished as well. The only thing left to do now is to see what's going on with Tempora and if her body has been restored, as well as time.
Before the comic comes to an end, I just want to take this opportunity to say: thank you for creating this wonderful story and taking us all on an exciting journey with our six favourite ponies, two favourite princesses and all our favourite villains. XD Reading this has been an incredible experience so far and I can't wait to see where the next few final pages are going to lead. I don't know how much longer this comic is going to be, but you bet I'll stick with it til the end.
Still, I can't help but wonder: WHERE has SPIKE been all this time?? He missed all the excitement! I hope he at least had some important business to take care of!
P.S. Every time I write a comment for this comic, I keep accidently misspelling Tempora as "Tempest". CURSE YOU MLP MOVIE FOR MESSING ME UP!
