my kids were playing with snails out in the backyard and started to put them on top of each other like this.

i love the balance of this shot, man. the composition is great and the muted colors stand well against the black.. congrats on your DD! you definitely excel at macro photography. the idea of stacking them was a really fun one, too. kids are so rad, man.

It's awful cute. Awww. I'm in a state of nostalgia. I heart poking snail's eye-thingie-bobber. Unfortunately, that experience is very fuzzy...I was four back then. There used to be so many snails.
