As I stated before, I have 3 brothers that are African American, a father that is Latino, and a best friend that is Muslim/African. Do you HONESTLY think I could be racist and get on so fine with all of them?! Hell, short of my father who left me, I LOVE every single one of them.
Now, Samuel L. Jackson has been type casted MANY times as a "PIMP". Granted, the TECHNICAL term means a man that sells women for money. BUT, in common day slang, it means someone that is smooth. But, maybe you are coming from the "politicaly correct" world.
Would you have a problem if I called him Jedi Gangsta? I would assume you would call me racist for that as well, saying that it is perpetrating some negative stereotype. I only ask, because you have a picture of yourself titled gangsta deviant id. You wouldn't want to be pushing that same stereotype as which you confronted me about would you? So obviously, you can't claim political correctness.
Now, I know A LOT of white males that would back down now, and not go into debate about this. As a society, we are taught that our great, great, great grandfathers have caused MANY great sins, and that we have to repay them still to this day. We have been hit with affirmitive action that has actually told us that even if we are qualified for a job, that if a female or person of another race or sexuality applies and is less qualified, that they are more entitled to the job than we are. I have seen this happy MANY times while growing up, and couldn't say a thing about it, because that would make me a racist, or sexist.
I as a person, have had to fight to get where I am, and have no reason to feel guilty. I had an abusive father, that left my mother to raise us on her own. We had hardly any money and had to receive welfare and food stamps just to get by, on top of her working two jobs. When she wanted to adopt kids of different races, I embraced them whole heartedly as if they were my brothers... because they are! I went to college, taking out tons of student loans, because my mother had NO money to help me pay for it. And I worked my butt off while there so that it wouldn't be in vein. I took a year off after college, and lived at home with my mother to take care of my brothers.
I have done NOTHING in my life that would make me a racist or any other type of biggot. My mother, a WOMAN, is the strongest person I have ever met. My brothers, AFRICAN AMERICAN, are the sweetest and most loyal people I have ever met, and they mean more to me than the world. My best friend, a MUSLIM, is the truest friend I have ever met. Heck, the writer of my comic is GAY, and is easily the smartest men I have ever met. I have not in anyway done a damn thing to keep anyone down. In fact, I was down myself, and fought to get to where I am now.
So, the fact that you would throw the word racist at me means you know NOTHING about me, and just assumed because I am a white male that I am an oppressor. And that, is a form of reverse racism right there. But, I would be flamed all over the internet if I SERIOUSLY claimed such a thing. So I won't.
But from now on, PLEASE take the time to meet the person you are labeling. I would not label you. In fact, I appreciate you. I am sure there is much I could learn from you.

yeah... the border kills it in thumbnail... I really dig doing the transparent backgrounds... one cause it is easier than a real bg, plus it can be full of pop.
So yeah... illustrator... good stuff... now just to learn how to color with my pen... just figuring out the settings is half the quest.
I have a couple original star wars characters I want to do up... myself as a Jedi, and an original sith creation. Other than that, I will be all SW'd out.
