Very nice. The only thing that really bothers me is his left leg. I know you're going for that extreme foreshortening (and it works) but it just seems a little too extreme for me.
BTW, how'd you get such nice linework in Illustrator? I can't do a thing with it!

Sick. I love Mace. He looks perfect and the lightsaber effects are great. I can't believe you inked that in Illustrator. You should put a tutorial up at Sketch Tavern. My only gripe is with his shadow. Blur it or blend it.

aw snap! some digital inking. very smooth and clean mikey. I love the way this was stylized, it some how looks alittle different than your usual stuff, i like it. Did you do this with your new wacom possibly?

oh yeah... the inks were with my new wacom... sooooo nice! I still colored it with the mouse though... I don't know why... still feels more natural... I found some good toots to use for digital painting and what not, so the transition to the pen for coloring will be coming soon... but now that I don't need the mouse, well... I kinda appreciate it... a lot of love and memories there.

Nah, no tickets for me yet... I will just get em when I show up. After going all crazy for episode 1 getting them 2 weeks in advance, sleeping in the lot the night before, I used up my SW geek quota...

hahaha...too bad you used it all up on the crappiest one..yeah, i guess this one was just too perfect to geek out on for me..all the stupid weiner kids are still in school til june sometime..PG-13 rating..i can go in care-free and annoying 7-year-old free..although, how many 7-year-olds try to get into any movies (especially Star Wars movies) by themselves?..thats what confuses me about making it PG-13...why not just go out with a Huge R-rated-jedi-slaughter-fest? hahaha..star wars is one of those movies i will have no problem going to see with my dad even at 19...as long as he pays and ive seen it 3 times already..haha
