I've been drawing Iron Man everyday this month as part of the Daily Draw Challenge over at Satellite Soda.I've now taken to inserting Iron Man into classic films and am rather excited at the possibilities.

Nice pic bud. your gray scales spot on and the nice old mach 1? suit with the eye cutouts are a nice touch to match the time period...

Yeah, the suit on this one was fun. I tried to incorporate some elements of old Stuebakers into the armor beyond just the standard M1 design. The shoulder pads, the chest symbol, the belt buckle, even the helmet. Subtle, maybe too subtle, but I thought it helped to incorporate him into the time period and social commentary of the film.
