thsnks but considering the pedigree of Bruce Timm and Jeff Matsuda already doing great animated versions of him there is no way I could come close to matching their vision.

That's the thing, I don't want you to match them. I like him in your style. I like Timm & Matsuda's styles equally with your own. Yours has that cartoony feel to it that looks better than Timm's to me. I think Matsuda's is great, but your's just has that "It's Saturday Morning!" feel to it!

I have a few of the Further Adventures collections and they are pretty great...the Joker one especially. Surprisingly twised and gory.

I keep thinking that the title is a pun on Bruce Timm's name, who directed Batman: The Animated Series from the early 90's.
I mean, I know it isn't, but I can't help thinking it.

yeah, it is a bit of a pun, because the TAS was the best version of Batman outside of the comics and it was one of the main reasons I am an animator.

i like how you didn't touch bats pose at all. We were on the phone and i knew you weren't gonna and i laughed when i saw it. The flatness is finally strating to work for me in your work and i gotta say, i'm impressed with the mood of the piece. A lot of the colors are choices that i never would have made but looking at it on the whole works very very nicely.
