Description
My teacher has assigned to me the job of teaching the rest of my grade 10 class and his grade nines how to use Macromedia Flash MX by tutorial. This is it so far.All graphics are made by me and the logo was also made by me after the tiny symbol on the program.
Any suggestions are welcome.
I am using 24fps so please tell me if any part needs longer to be read or what not. And if it helps at all... or if its useless.

Good. I like to see people make tutorials for Flash (now "Adobe Flash". Macromedia was bought-out by it's rival company). Flash has become one of the biggest (if not the biggest) web-based media software. We need more people using the program, and this is the perfect place to start
Good job, Lightbringer

This tutorial is very helpful! Thanks!
Im making one dress-up game right now but I have one problem: how to get some clothes made in Photoshop (with transparent background) to Flash MX 2004 (to the rest)?
Hope anyone will help me...

thats a very hard thing to do... sometimes it works but I think it needs to be a certain type, flash does its transparency with alpha channels so if you can use alpha in photoshop it should work, if the dress is not moving what you could do is just make a picture of the flash without the dress and crop it to the section the dress will be in, then make a layer behind the dress in the photoshop picture and put it in as a background for that, that way it won't need to be transparent
I'm not sure what would work though, I've never used pictures or anything of the like, all my stuff in flash is made with the flash tools.
good luck

Thanks for trying to help but I fear I'm not totally aware of what you mean...
Okay, when I'm saving things in Photoshop, I might choose "alpha channel" option, but that seems not to change anything in Flash MX...
Well and the second advice I just don't understand...Stupid me

Pretty cool. I like the job you did on the animation at the start especially.
A suggestion from me -- if you're able, put screenshots in of the tools etc. you're talking about. That way people can associate the name of the tool with the actual tool itself.
But looking good so far.

thanks, its been hard to do that because the computers at my school are not that good and can't sustain many pictures so I have to make any icons and symbols in my animation

Hey no problem at all.
Ahh I see. In that case, considering that -- its looking great despite your working limitations.

This is neat!
Only suggestion I have is to put in a little pause button so that it can be read without having to rush. ^^
