Description
This is another Mojo-render from Lewis' Planet 'Dusted' - my favorite Mojoplanet; only drawback are the rendertimes - in this case with true-shadows it tooks 4 days 16 hrs 26 mins...It's the pure render - no postwork here. For those who want to know more background-infos (fictional!) of this planet, read the artists-comment on that deviation -> [link]
Hope you like it!

This image got ripped on mindblowingart.blogspot.com -> [link] and here -> [link] also...
I see this as a quality-sign!
Thanks to who has informed me about!

After seeing this render, I just had to find this planet and get it for myself. I have never had even an animation that took 4 days to render. Wow! That was brutal. Great scene.

Thanks man! You could render much faster, but not in this quality; the textures are very deep nested on this planet...
If you do a render of it and publish it, I'd be glad if you note me so I can see it

You are very welcome! Upon your prompt, I decided to look around the planet and see what I could see. I did a few renders, but didn't have time to look around a lot and I didn't find the water, so I made the water come to me. I changed the sea level and adjusted the position of the sun and moon.
I wasn't really planning to submit a render, but when I rendered it out, I couldn't resist because it looked so cool. I see why you like the planet so much. As you can see, I didn't do a huge render, but it still took four hours to render: [link]

I've never heard of Mojoworld... is it like Terragen at all? Or Bryce?

It's a bit different from all other landscaping-apps, cause you don't have a terrain like in TG, Bryce or even Vue - instead you have whole planets (standard is as big as earth, but you can make them any size you like - from small asteroids to gas-giants) and build there a terrain trough some fractals; also you can build up an atmosphere with different cloud-layers, water-layers and covering the ground with some layers of vegetation or whatever...
The fractal-build system isn't that easy, but there are many, many already build mojo-planets out there e.g. on Renderosity. Also you can build first tries trough a wizardlike UI...
When you have a planet, you can travel around on them, explore it, make notices about nice places you've found, take shots(time it needs to render depends on size and quality you want) or fly over the planet and render animations as well...
There are still more possibilities like using billboards, placing plants and more, but it doesn't make sense to describe those before you have the app
You can download a testversion on pandromeda.com - its full working but places watermarks over the render; for a first experience it should do - only drawback is, that this app will not further developed (in the next version whole solar-sytems was planned, but to less people have buyed it, so Ken Musgrave aka Doc Mojo, the developer of this has sadly stopped it)
HTH
