Yeah, in the beginning of the series I almost saw him as a "new" Spock as he was trying to comprehend his uniqueness.

erinnert mich an meine Zeit, als ich Astronomie klasse fand und mit meinem popeligen Teleskop nicht viel mehr ausfindig machen konnte als die Krater auf unserem Mond .... war halt zu schwach das Ding, um damit Galaxien oder Nebel zu entdecken -_-
