The Evil Overlord List is a list of things that, if I were an Evil Overlord, I would learn from the failures of the Evil Overlords who came before me and never do these things.
"Avatar: The Last Airbender" breaks quite a few of these rules. So I thought I'd point that out in a humorous way.

Just wondering, but wasn't Rule #35 ("I will not wear a goatee") also broken by the Fire Nation (note how Aang grabbed Ozai's long goatee in the final battle)?

See, if I'd written the series, I would have had Ursa forced to commit harakiri after Azulan's assassination, Ozai attempt to kill Iroh and Zuko (who would now be a baby), Azula be merely Zuko's half-sister (thus explaining Ozai's compulsion to kill Ursa and her son), Iroh fake his own suicide and baby Zuko's death, and Iroh and Zuko in hiding, plotting to use the Avatar to overthrow Ozai.
But that's just me. How would you have written it?

No, I believe they are full-brothers because at Azulon's funeral, they only mentioned one wife.
The half-brother is a direct quote from the Evil Overlord List.
