Tried something just a little bit different this time. I made the bottom layer transparent rather than black. But you guys probably wouldn't notice that...Oh well.
This was made in honor of my own love for the Artemis Fowl pairing Arty/Holly. There are hints that, despite the fact that they are the only two main characters to have a romantic kiss in the books, and seven books worth of emotional development, they are not going to be canon.
Very well. I'll ship fanon.
My very first primary fanon couple. Most of the time, I like fanon couples as secondary, with the canon couple taking center stage.
See? Even though I have ALWAYS shipped canon does not mean that I'm incapable of seeing the romantic potential in fanon couples.
I shall continue shipping Arty/Holly even if they don't end up being canon.

I usually stick as close to the canon pairing as possible (Lukear, Feenris, Squinoa, Sukka etc.), but sometimes hints and nothing more are good enough for me (Rokushi, and an example I'm about to go on a small tangent on). Hey, sometimes I don't even care for the lead pairing, so I go with the pairing I preferred before the canon one became a thing.
RANT AHOY (for instance, my thoughts on Nauselm (or Nausicaa X Selm because not too many people know about VotW, be it the movie or the books) and Nausbel (Nausicaa X Asbel), I don't really like the former that much, partially because I was rooting for Nausbel since I personally thought Nausicaa and Asbel complimented eachother better, one being a calm, gentle-hearted princess while the other was an amiable yet zealous prince with a strong sense of justice, but the one big thing they had in common aside from being allies and good friends who really cared for eachother (at least in the movie) was that they were both strong leaders who loved their people (and I've heard that in one of the books, Asbel did refer to Nausicaa as his "beloved wind-rider", so there miiiight be something there). While Selm, on the other hand, from what I've heard (he was in the books, but not the movie), is rather similar to Nausicaa demeanor-wise, but he's not as deep of a character. He somewhat mirrors her, but does less and doesn't really do much in the complimentary department. I feel like they just kinda threw him in there to act as....I guess a personification of Nausicaa's love for nature, given Selm grew up in the wilds, as well as a love interest. Alas, as you probably guessed, Nauselm was the pairing that became canon. Oh well....a good sailor/captain/what have you goes down with his or her ship, and I'll sink with the SS Nausbel if needs must, though I'll try not to mind Nauselm when or if I get the other books (I only have book 5 and I have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER TO WHAT IS GOING ON)) RANT OVER

I ship both canon and fanon pairings. One of my favorites being LuigixRosalina (although I do still like Luaisy). I also love FalconxAyame from Power Stone

I know how you feel. They're one of my favorite couples too. I hope they do end up canon. There's a lot of ship tease going on there! But, no matter what happens, I'll continue to ship them forever like the nerdy fangirl I am. xD
