Thanks Alice, it was cold and I had borrowed a Nikon 18-200 VR lens to test. Glad I did. I was shaking so the VR worked really well.

Thanks Almut. That morning shoot was excellent. I have about 20 photos worthy of dA, normally I get 5 or 6.
Here in Norfolk we are aircraft alley. On a clear work day by 2pm the sky is awash with clouds made up by contrails, so yes it gets to me, as well.

Those are the perfect days/moments for the photographer in us.
Everything seems to be aircraft alley around here. Wherever I go hiking, I spot those nice, annoying condensation trails above me. Perhaps there should be a subcategory like 'condensation trail paintings' in "sky".

It is a sign of the modern times. Usually at this time of year we don't see the sky because of the rain clouds. At present clear skys each morning so we notice the trails, more. Sub Cat Clouds\Sky\Contrails.
