Description
Took this one on my balcony. I wasn't expecting the wasp to fly away, but I think I've been quite luckyIt's a little blurred and the flowers are missing the contrast they have on the original slide, but I think it's nice anyway
Nikon F70, 35-70 Nikkor, Tamron close-up lenses, Kodak E100VS film
Unsharp Mask in PS, 130%, 1.7 radius, 6 threshold.
NOTE: This is a new scan, done with my new Nikon Coolscan IV ED. As you can see, the dust is gone, and the overall image is imho a much better

Oh damn! I thought I liked your "still" wasp work, but this is just freaking incredible! I can never catch bugs in flight, it's hard enough catching the moment or two that they land!!!!
OMG!!!!

Woah, awesome. I can even see the little, individual pieces of dust on the picture! You should clean up the scan (make sure no dust is on it) and then sell deviant prints. I am sure people would be interested in this photo. Great job!

Very nice... I like the motion of the wings, it gives it a neat action effect. Great color saturation. Decent focus for such a fast subject too.

ok, you took that with slide film, and was it 100 speed? if so, i must say, you are a miracle worker!! the focus on the MOVING subject is perfect. i must say that is incredible. my only complaint is that there is some noise on the shot, maybe its pollen or something, but i can see some dust that maybe could be cleaned off either your pos or your scanner. but this still is an incredible shot, just amazing!!

Very nice shot. ItΒ΄s hard to catch the little critters in flight, and harder still with an attractive background like this.
Two minutes in Photoshop would take care of the dust.

Wow! Fantastic shot here. I love how only the wasp seems to be in focus (even the wings are blurry). Great capture!

This is one wicked shot and you were lucky to get that wasp to be there I think the blurring on the flowers helps the shot alot anyways since it brings focus to the wasp which is the focal point of the photo. Very nice work and a +fav, I like good photography
