Description

Krysten looked around at the caves. It resembled a wide underground hall as spacious as Beacon’s, with the walls and pillars made of square-cut blocks of sedimentary rocks. The tops of the caves were lit with bright incandescent lights and wiring, almost as brightly as if there were sunshine pouring in. Scattered across the uneven and cracked ground were the remnants of excavation machines, pickaxes, carts, and other mining paraphernalia. The halls diverged into a grid-like pattern, and the wiring only followed one path; the other paths were dimly lit. Beneath the white lights nailed to the ceiling, several strands of blue and green light shined on the walls.

“Are those… veins of Dust?” Krysten asked, pointing to the walls as they stopped at one four-way intersection. The lights led to the path on their right.

Here's a tour of the old Schnee Dust mine. Also, that's the most number of people I've drawn in one image.
