Holy shoot, guys, I came up with this team's designs and weapons in like 40 minutes.Okay/
Midnyte Morrow
Theme/Reference: Sunrise, Gold
Weapons: Bladed Revolvers
Details: Basic Shonen protag
Semblance: Flash- Emits bright lights from hands to blind enemies or light up dark environments
Dustin Salazar
Theme/Reference: Snakes, Green,
Weapons: Sub-Machine Gun Saber
Details: Sylver Salazar's (Team MDAS) cousin. Has braces
Semblance: Spies- Creates semi-solid snakes that she uses to survey surroundings. they are intangible and cannot attack anything
Umbra Nightingale
Theme/Reference: Umbra (Shadow of earth on the moon), black
Weapons: Spear. Just... plain old spear.
Details: Vulcania Xaga fan, mimics her hairstyle
Semblance: Shadow Bolt- Speed drastically increases when hidden from light sources/in shadows
Tovella Pirus
Theme/Reference: Tezcatlipoca, Pyrrhus (Red)
Weapons: Shotgun Macuahuitl
Details: Is a ram faunus
Semblance: Smoking Mirror- Creates clones of himself out of smoke, which his real body can alternate between (think of the Double Team moves from the Pokemon anime)

Should I point out that I too have a RWBY OC with the last name Nightingale or do we let this one slide like the thing with thousands of RWBY OCs sharing the name Brooke/Azure? oAo

There's always going to be an excess of cliche RWBY OC names like Ash, Brooke, Nightingale, Pyrrhus, Pirus, Perrault (Any deviation that doesn't spell Pyrrha), Shadow, etc. We can't change that.
That being said, I felt no need to avoid those kinds of names because both Team MDNT and Team MAUV are simply background/secondary teams that appear in the Vytal Tournament to fight my main OC teams.
So, yeah. Just let it slide.

Actually, their name IS Midnight. Mantle is the name of the Kingdom, Atlas is the name of the school.
It's like saying "Team RWBY - Vytal (Beacon)"

I hate to say it, but no, you're wrong. The Kingdom is Atlas, Mantle was the country originally there before the end of the Great War. And the Kingdom Beacon is at is Vale, Vytal is the name of the continent the Kingdom of Vale is on. ":3

Huh, I didn't know that both the kingdom AND the city Beacon is in are both named Vale. That stuff is kinda confusing, like making New York city and the State of New York have the same names.
Also, I'm half right on the Atlas part. I read the wiki and what I understood is Atlas is both the school AND the kingdom. So we're both right.

Yea, apparently the Kingdoms are the cities. Think of it like Attack on Titan, only it's four cities/kingdoms and they all don't have multiple walls.
Ah, should've noticed that. That does make sense how Atlas is the more militaristic and non-sensical of the four, so imagination in names must be an all time low. X3
