Exactly. You see, I figured something out recently: Alcohol blocks his semblance.
I mean, think of his fight with Winter. Had his semblance worked, the whole school wouldΒ΄ve gone to waste, with all the sh*t going on there. Minor incidents happened when he was getting drunk, but when he was sober, like during his fight with Tyrian, a single broken beam was enough to cause an entire building to collapse AND get rid of two peopleΒ΄s auras.
