Those recovery frames can sure be a bitch, huh? Yay! Another request down. This request was "SerialKiller!Baiken killing Ky" for ~Lativer . This one was difficult for me. She requested it like a month, maybe two months ago and I kind of just sat on the idea for a while. I had never ever drawn a fight scene where the two characters were not on even ground. Or rather this is the first time I had ever drawn someone winning/dominating their opponent.I said that I had wanted to draw a picture with our two mains fighting for a long time now but never really went though with it. But she forced me to do it by requesting it. And since she requested it, she decided the victor, haha.
Ky would wipe the floor with Baiken in a real fight though.

Thinking about this I can see Baiken heading towards the Serial Killer ending. Here's my piece.
From what can be seen in her endings in the games (save for one or two) is that Baiken, in her quest for vengeance against That Man, is willing to use her skills and her blade against anyone who crosses her. Even Gears, like Sol Badguy, while not malicious like other Gears are still targeted by her as she holds a deep grudge against them for murdering her parents. Plus any associates of That Man are also potentially marked as they know and have met him personally and whatever information they have on him would be valuable in tracking him down.
Baiken could reason that since she has built up her skills and strength that it would be easier to slay anyone who tries to stop from reaching That Man or kill any Gears that may pose a threat to her or her quest. Plus with no one around to stop her, she could simply do as she pleases, almost.
Her quick temper added with her obsession would spell disaster for Baiken and whoever crossed her path.
Making the ending of her on the run after she loses her mind in the rush of murdering I-No and facing off against Ky of the IPF a little more believable in my book. That's my two cents.

If there is a sequel, I want psycho Baiken in the plot. The endings were she goes to the sadistic side of the Force (Baiken 2, I-No 2, Slayer 2 and Chipp 2) are the best.

Well there's still Sol and Dizzy. But knowing Dizzy, she'll just probably cry and cry with her girlfriends. I guess Sol would be the one to bring Baiken down, and of course, Baiken doesn't have a chance *mwuahahaha*

ffffff man that ending always makes me ;W; cuz I love the heck outta Baiken. That and the A-Team one with her and Chipp and Venom but that one amuses me a little so :U

I love the speed in this! Did you use like, a paint-erase technique for most of those speedy-shading lines?

I felt bad going through her storyline. As I was making the choices I was like, "this is not going to end well". After going through this storyline I have a greater respect for Chipp though. Never really expected him to be the voice of reason. But, I always laugh when I hear Baiken's descriptions on how she plans to end Ky. It's so over the top and she just goes on and on.
Also yes, I blocked in colors and then erased while other parts were done by just drawing lines. I kind of messed up though because I let the layers confuse me and then in frustration flattened everything and worked on one layer.

Thank you. This wasn't the pose I had originally planned. I had sketches everywhere but never really had anything I was happy with and I was having a really hard time building up the momentum to stick with this piece. But my sister brought the request up again and started naming all of the various ways Baiken could kill Ky (it was funny because we had to keep reminding ourselves that she had one arm). Inspiration struck, I reworked it and now here is this.
