I wanted to draw Astor as a Royal Seer, but I felt so bad about the idea of directly using Sharlmbracta and Sheikah-simp/silverjirachi’s design (especially when I had 18+ ideas lurking in my head), so I decided to put a bit of a spin to it while still inspired by both versions, with entirely red sleeves, more detailed designs on his tabard on his cape, leave the cape red, and add the necklace and belt he wore in Age of Calamity. I had to use the Royal Guard set as reference so the design didn’t look too similar. I decided to leave out the hood, but if he did wear one, it would match the blue cape. Made the gloves white to compliment the white center of his robe and boots.

I like to think his story with him and Aveline in both BotW and AoC to be pretty similar but branching out separately depending whether Astor found the orb or past!Terrako to channel Malice powers through or not. Chances are that he hid away during the Calamity and spent most of his days in Lurelin Village. For Aveline, it’s unknown.

I swear I spent more time on reshaping the head to not look like some egg or apple thing I used to draw for heads back in the early 2010s than the entire outfit >_>
