Description
Finally but definitely not least, this drawing goes out to .Based on a scene from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? episode "A Clue for Scooby-Doo." However, this is a what-if scenario had that scene involved Daphne and Velma instead. Daphne was sometimes accident-prone, after all. The background is based on the sunken ship in that same scene. He also asked that Daphne and Velma be based on their What's New, Scooby-Doo? designs.

Interestingly enough, Daphne was put into an inflatable suit in tbe Frankencreepy movie.

This turned simply wonderful. This indeed was well worth the wait. ^_^ What was your favorite thing to do/most fun for you on this?

Thanks for the kind words. I think the background was what I really liked doing the most. I'm terrible at backgrounds but this one was fun to make.

I do remember this scene. (Honestly never fully understood what Scooby was thinking in the actual episode.)
My guess in this sort of scenario, Daphne backed into something, bumping her air tank, increasing its output, and causing her suit to inflate. (Lovely how she, like Scooby did, can stay underwater rather than shoot to the surface where she'd bob about like a cork.) And I love how their faces are, Daphne's could be "Wait, what are you thinking?" and Velma's "Glad it's you instead of me."
And I suddenly have an idea brewing with Velma inspired by Son of Flubber and one with both Daphne and Velma inspired by Superman 2. (The latter would be pretty dark actually...)
Anyway, here's hoping there's more Scooby-Doo inspired art from you in the future.

That'd be a pretty humorous situation if this scene was real. Maybe the next time I'm accepting PC's again, you can suggest one of those ideas.

Then again, that's what fanfics are for.
And yeah, time shall tell.

I know you've done Scooby Doo fanfics, but I do believe this is the first time you've done Daphne and Velma, right.
And I am reminded of the one Scooby Doo/Ghostbusters thing I've been milling over for some time. I know I've got my other main ifea for the future, but IF I ever do craft that story someday, may it perhaps an art idea or two.

This is indeed the first time I've ever drawn Daphne and Velma. And I'd be willing to do more Scooby-Doo art should I ever get a chance.

Thought so.
If I ever do that story, there's a scene or two I think would make for fun art.

Considering the suit will fill with water once punctured, that's very likely. But due to cartoon logic, the hole will patch itself up and she'll be just fine as if it never burst in the first place.

Yep, he and I discussed this quite a long time ago. We sort of made a deal to see who could bring this to life first. I ALMOST had it done by another artist, but things never really got off the ground and I shifted to other ideas.
But I am very happy to this is has become a reality.
