Well there's many races, but these two are the Space Marines, and the attacking ones are Chaos Space Marines, which are the evil counter part, who travel around the universe recruiting other races, but their main input are Space Marines.
And the Chaos Space Marines, Have horns on their heads.

actually the Tau recruit other races that they take over or colonize. Chaos is just SM and Imperial Guard gone rogue and insane.

The Chaos Space Marines are Basically Regular Space Marines that Abandoned the Emperor for the Powers of Chaos or were Corrupted By the Powers of Chaos
They'd Rather Kill life than Convert it to Chaos though
But, yes. They do have horns..

Yup, Otherwise they almost look alike. And the Chaos Space Marines often spaz out when provoked.
