Sometime prior to freeing Domino Squad...

Aboard the Negotiator, The Bad Batch are assigned to the 212th. Echo introduces them to the man who trained him in ARC Trooper training. Of course, no one amongst the Grand Army aside from Generals Kenobi and Skywalker are aware that Fordo is Jango's twin brother who disguised himself as a Clone as a contingency in case someone tries to misuse the Clone Army. Everyone else thinks he's just an Alpha-Class ARC Trooper, in reality he is the only Prime-class ARC Trooper. The Bad Batch just thinks he's just an ordinary reg, however... since Fordo is a Mandalorian, he doesn't take too kindly to his "nephews" picking on each other incessantly. He's had to deal with the Nulls and Alphas bickering and he had to put that rivalry to bed. Fordo just finally got the Commandos to work with the ARCs; having ended the unhealthy side of the rivalry between the two classes. Now he has to put to bed the stupid idiotic antagonistic rivalry between Commandos and their regular brothers.

Hunter and the Bad Batch themselves aren't sure what to make of this ARC. Wrecker and Crosshair start criticizing the ARC who is going to be their instructor alongside members of the Cuy'val Dar. Tech notices the level of Katarn Fordo's armour has much like theirs however, he insists the armour is subpar. Hunter even tries to stand up to him. Eventually, Fordo draws his heritage out, cursing them out in Mando'a, not only revealing his impatience towards his nephews, thus revealing himself as a Fett to the Commandos. After grilling them, putting them in their place, he names Echo as the ARC Trooper in charge of the team during training and readies them for a practise for a refresher course; the Citadel Challenge!
