Story:
Link wasn’t stupid. Despite her attempts to be subtle, Princess Zelda sure had been talking about shrinking a lot. She talked about potions and herbs that could shrink a person, experimenting with her own magic to find a shrinking spell, a hero of legend who could shrink in size, the idea of seeing the world at a tiny size, it seemed like it was all that was on her mind recently.

One night after a long day, Zelda had fallen asleep on Link’s leg. Looking at one of the new runes Zelda had made, Link had an idea. He set the princess as the target for the shrink rune and activated it. Within seconds Link watched his girlfriend dwindle to a size smaller than his hand. Amazed at how tiny she had become, Link cupped his hands around Zelda and gently lifted her closer to his face.

Aroused from her slumber, the tiny princess propped herself up on her elbow, taking a minute to shake off her sleep. “Oh, Link.” Zelda said, a bit confused at her predicament, “I see you found the shrinking rune. I um, didn’t think you’d be this eager to use it. As much as I appreciate you shrinking me down, I actually have yet to develop the growth rune…”

Link scratched the back of his head. He hadn’t quite considered how he’d get Zelda back to normal. “Well, I suppose I’ll have to get to work on it.” She said, “In the meantime, I think I’ll enjoy my time with you being so small…”

Notes:
This was a bit of a quick one, but I haven’t done a Zelda shrinking animation in a while, and wanted to try one again now that I’ve gotten much better at animating and making people feel more lifelike. This isn’t my best work, but it was still pretty fun to do, and I enjoy just doing simple cute stuff with Link and Zelda.
