Incredible photo! The sea looks like mercury and the drilling rig gives the picture a metaphorical message... One day people will destroy the whole beauty of the nature. Lucky that there are still so brilliant photographers as you, beeing able to save this beauty by means of photos at least for some time...

Great you like it. That platform? I have no clear idea. As far as I know the gas fields are further outside. But they are also erecting windparks in the sea. So the drilling may have something to do with that as well. I shall try to find out more ...
