I'm no art critic here, (And it's pretty obvious) But I really like the tear, sort of makes the whole picture, especially because it looks more focused on then the rest of the picture.

I usually do a triangle for the nose, then a bit more rounded triangle for the upper lip and then an oval for the bottom lip :3
