Lately I've seen that the only cartoons that people can get behind are those that are incredibly heartfelt & mysterious (Gravity Falls) or came from someone that worked on Adventure Time (Steven Universe) and this is no exception. Everybody and their great-uncle hates this with a passion just because it's a comedy for kids and isn't SA3. Can't we just remember when we used to take joy in shows that were created to be incredibly absurd and make us laugh?

Here are my reasons why this is good.

Pros
1. The animation is actually really decent
2. The humor is well-written
3. Knuckles, Sticks and Eggman are some of the most enjoyable characters
4. Amy finally stopped sounding like Minnie Mouse
5. Evil ham, that is all.

Cons
1. Sonic's running motion is a bit off
2. Some jokes can get a bit stale
3. Characters that originated from Rise of Lyric only appear for one episode and then BOOM (get it?), reduced to background cameos
4. The theme music is a bit unoriginal. Remember when we had "Fastest Thing Alive" and "Gotta Go Fast"? Nope, all we get is a tune that you can get off of Google Play. I mean c'mon Sega, the show is called Sonic Boom so why not use the song of the same name?

Anyway, I like this.

Sonic the Hedgehog belongs to Sega.
