Description
At the very end of last year I was invited to draw a few pieces for an upcoming book about the world of Android (and Android Netrunner) by Fantasy Flight Games. Since the book has finally been announced , I can finally show you this feathery thing that was ravaging my eyeballs all the way until January 2015.Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3.
So much red.

Majestic? Beautiful? I don't think these terms do it justice and yet in my reduced vocabulary I can't find the right word either...
(Also it almost makes me cringe to imagine the amount of work you must have put into this

Thank you! It's quite large, 10kx6k pixels, and for a two page spread so I pretty much indulged myself and went all out on the details.

I must confess I didn't know it was a Phoenix until I saw the title. However, it is still gorgeous(fab work on the texture and shading)

Thanks! It's less a phoenix in the traditional sense, and more a representation of a certain structure in cyberspace, which bears a likeness to a phoenix on some level. Somehow when I put it like that it sounds a little weird.
