it's funny the stuff you take photos of when you've got a new camera and an empty flashcard...anyway... practising Depth Of Field... well, that's my excuse anyway!!
yep, my feet, and yep, odd socks...
this was taken while in my van on the way home from the nature reserve - my boots were so muddy I took them off, put my feet up and relaxed... my jeans were pretty muddy too...

I think the curve of the window behind your feet really adds to the dof in this image. It drops of really really really quickly, like right after your feet but before the other side of the glass. I think thats how you managed to have such an evenly and smoothly blurred background. And its also good to have catchy colors to keep your eye in the middle when you put your foreground right smack in the center.

i like it..though i think it would be better if you got rid of that distracting sticker thingy on the left..not sure how difficult that would be, but eh, that's just my opinion.

(pardon my ignorance...i blame not being in the U.K. and the fact that I don't even know how to drive yet...and that i'm not 18..so i know nothing about taxes and other scary and/or boring stuff that adults have to deal with

Tax disk is paiyment for being allowed to drive on the road - it kinda' (in theory) is s'posed to pay for the up-keep of the roads and stuff... but then we have HUGE sales tax on our gas and also a few thousand speed cameras too which supply the government with plenty of cash!!!
yeah, ps is porbably the best option... was actually thinking of doing a de-sat on the background anyway, so i'll try and remove the sticker and then do some other stuf to it too...

and i did actually, out of sheer boredom, tried removing it in PS and it wasn't too difficult...and then i got rid of the car...and that thing on the right...and your feet..an everything else...
