3rd photo of the sunrise over Northampton this morning... if you skint your eyes ever so slightly you can almost be somewhere exotic!!!

i have seen more sunsets than sunrises in the galleries. but i can't see the sunrise from my home, and it's kind of too gray in the city...i saw one two years ago when i was in the hospital with a view tothe east. sun rises over the grey belt that wraps the horizon in the morning. so this is beautiful, really

Thank you!! yeah - I'm not much of an early riser - more of a night-owl!! Pleased I got up early yesterday though!! This morning on the other hand... back to normal, grey, dark, & miserable!!

About 7am... saw the colour of the sky through a gap in the curtains and got up instantly... would probably have laid in bed for another 20 minutes ifthe sky hadn't been so gorgeous!!
