TumblrSmooth, Altair, hella smooth.
With how much Altair loves the good ol' times of the Brotherhood , I figured he and Bayek would be best buddies. So I drew that, but then it hit me - confident or not, Altair might be a wee bit intimidated to meet the person who pretty much decided what his whole world would look like. And, you know, on the outside, we all try to act cool, right? xD
Also, if any of you kind bird-knowers could tell me what species Senu is, I'd be much obliged. Coz they say it’s an eagle, and I truly want to believe it’s an eagle, but I googled "eagle" for reference and it looked nothing like it. And then I googled "hawk" and it was like 90% there. Someone, explain??!
Ok, apparently it's probably short-toed snake eagle.

I can just see Altair being so in awe of Bayek, he'd feel like a little novice again lol. Awesome work, I was hoping to see some art of these two interacting lol.

I mean, in the AC gamees we're shown that Altair respects seniority of experience (if not rank - hey there, Malik!), so I'd imagine he'd be pretty stoked to meet the dude who started it all.

Yes, Bayek really brought about the principles Altair's order would later follow. Poor Altair would be so out of his depth lol.
