This is a request done for of her character Keegan from her book The Forest Behind the Trees. I hope you like it!

This is perhaps my most detailed (and possibly best!) drawing thus far. One of the few I'm actually fairly happy with!

That being said this took FOREVER and I had many difficulties with it.
I started the drawing in TwistedBrush Open Studio but after having difficulties with the face I got Photoshop up and running on my new computer.
My second major hangup was then the puffy sleeves...I've always wanted to draw them but have never been able to. Let me tell you...it was not easy. I probably spent more time on those sleeves than the rest of him put together. xD
The metal armband and belt were also quite a challenge. I read through five or six tutorials and then ended up doing my own thing...Hopefully it looks okay.
Then came the rock. I know it still doesn't look like much, but that was Hard. I probably could have had an easier time if I pulled up a few references, but you would think that rocks wouldn't be that hard compared to people.

The rest of the drawing came surprisingly easy though. The thee trunk and his hair and pants somehow didn't give me much trouble.

This drawing was really fun overall. I'm very surprised I didn't get frustrated halfway through. Hope the background doesn't take away from it too much.

Drawn completely in TwistedBrush Open Studio and Adobe Photoshop. Didn't pay attention to the time, but at least 24 hours.
